Elizabeth, an elementary school teacher from Shiloh, North Carolina, was featured in a post where she shared her story of adopting healthier eating habits and losing 52 pounds. We’ve caught up with her since then, and are excited to report that she has continued her logging streak on Lose It! and is now down 70 pounds and counting!

Father Who Works From Home Sets a Healthy Example for His Young Children
Marup, a father in his forties who works from home in Queens, New York, was featured in a post where he shared how being a dad kick-started his journey to better health—he wanted to set a good example of living a healthy and active lifestyle for his family.
With a job requiring him to work from home for long stretches of time, Marup knew he needed to find ways to move his body without sacrificing precious time. He decided that exercising on a stationary bike would be an ideal way to incorporate more movement into his daily routine, and loves seeing the calories burned on his rides in Lose It! He has continued his newfound routine of taking long daily walks with his family, getting everybody outside for fresh air and quality time together. Marup has also embraced the role of family chef, swapping out processed foods and takeout for fresh produce and fish, and preparing simple, tasty balanced meals at home.

After Losing 120 Pounds, Victoria Can Cross Her Legs Again
Victoria, a home care agency owner from Berlin, New Jersey, can cross her legs again after losing 120 pounds. Her health journey began when she decided she no longer wanted to be the person who couldn’t participate in things because of her size.
Even though the number on the scale has gone down significantly, it’s the non-scale victories that keep Victoria motivated to keep up healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle. Eating out is now something she does only occasionally. Instead, she enjoys tracking foods, cooking at home, and saving her favorite recipes in the app. Working out has gone from being a chore to something she looks forward to. An avid traveler, she “no longer needs a seat belt extension on an airplane.” And when it comes to her work, she has a job where she’s on her feet a lot of the time, and losing weight has helped her career immensely.
I have more energy now and am not tired all the time. I’m much more successful in my career. I made a conscious decision to become healthy, and now it’s just part of my lifestyle.”
