50 Lbs Lost
A Massachusetts mother who works from home and takes care of her energetic six-year-old, Angie began her journey to better health when she decided to leave her sedentary lifestyle behind. She remembers getting off the couch after watching television and saying to herself that her current lifestyle wasn’t in line with what she wanted, which was to lose weight, be more active, have more energy to enjoy her life, and set a good example for her daughter.

Through the app, Angie learned about macronutrients and could easily track what she was putting into her body. She consciously decided to eat healthier and incorporate exercise into her life. Instead of being winded on walks, she began looking forward to movement in her daily life, from boxing and dancing to practicing ballet and cheerleading routines with her daughter. Angie has become a mindful eater and enjoys prepping healthy lunches with her daughter. The mother-daughter bond is stronger than ever, and each day her daughter delights in this special time spent together packing lunches.
Angie credits her weight loss success to being consistent in logging her meals and exercise, and on occasion when she does forget, she is grateful that the app keeps her accountable with reminders and helps her stay on track. Since she decided to download Lose It! and prioritize her health, Angie has lost 50 pounds and set a goal for herself to lose another 20.
