Katie Paliotti is a certified personal trainer and fitness and nutrition writer.

About

Growing up as a three-sport athlete, I learned at a young age that proper nutrition and strength training can improve sports performance, self-confidence, and overall quality of life. Due to my early infatuation with fitness, I went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). In addition to playing college basketball, I created a wellness column in the TCNJ student newspaper. Upon graduation, I went on to gain a master's degree in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University. There, I learned how to combine my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with a skillset in writing on scientific-based research. From the age of 18, I have been a certified personal trainer and have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients. My own personal experience with fitness includes competing in figure bodybuilding and more recently powerlifting. My toughest client is by far myself! I could not be happier that I am living out my purpose of helping others improve their lives through coaching and educating on topics related to fitness and nutrition.
