Who’s ready for a challenge?  The new year feels like the right time to try something new.  Before we get started with the details, we first wanted to say that we are so happy you’re here.  At Lose It!, we feel proud to be a tool that supports your health journey. 

The Details

Starting today, we’re challenging you to commit to 100 days of consistent logging.  Yes, that’s right, 100 days!  Each and every day, log your food and beverage choices in the app.  While this is a personal challenge, not hosted or associated with the app, we are here to be your accountability buddy in getting you started.

At Lose It!, we believe there’s a place in your diet for any food you love.  We also know that finding the right balance in food choices, movement, and hydration is key to improving your health and takes some time.  By logging in daily, we hope that you can begin to learn about your current habits and then feel motivated to set goals around those details you would like to improve. 

How to Participate in the Challenge: 

On day 1, after you complete a day of logging, smash that “I’m done logging” button at the bottom of your log screen – that signifies that you have completed your day of logging. (BTW / FYI: It does not prevent you from logging more food and can be unchecked at any time)

And that’s it! Keep logging throughout the 100 days and wrap each day by hitting the “I’m done logging” button. When you tap the “I’m done logging” button multiple days in a row, you will get a pop-up notification about how long your logging “streak” is. Your streak is how many days in a row you’ve logged.

After you’ve had consistent logging, you’ll be able to look back at your days and reflect.

Here are some examples of questions to ask yourself when reviewing your log:

  • How does that meal make you feel – energized or tired?  
  • Are you skipping meals too often?  
  • Do you feel hungry because you might be lacking something in your diet?  
  • Are you getting enough color every day (aka fruits and vegetables)? 
  • What would you like to change?
  • What habit are you most proud of?
  • How consistently are you exercising?
  • Is your hydration where you’d like it to be?
